We’re so happy you’ve found us.

We’re Line and Dimitry, a wife-and-husband team based in Aylmer, Gatineau (Québec) — and we’re the heart and hands behind Bougies Chénier.

Starting this business was a dream we carried for a long time. We’ve always talked about building something together — a project where my creative spirit (Line) could come together with Dimitry’s strength in management and numbers.

Together, we’ve created something that truly blends our passions.

Our Roles

I (Line) am the creative soul behind Bougies Chénier. I handle:

• Designing our website

• Creating all product labels

• Managing our social media

• Preparing for markets and events

• And labeling every finished product
  Each candle and wax melt passes through my hands with intention and care.

Dimitry brings structure and support. With a background in management, he takes care of:

• Inventory and supplier coordination

• Finances and logistics

• And yes — when things get busy, you’ll even find him helping pour candles!

How It All Started

In 2022, we took the leap and launched Bougies Chénier. From our cozy little home workshop, we began creating our first line of handmade candles — pouring love and care into every step, from choosing the wax, the right wick, and the ideal jars to selecting the perfect fragrances.

And in 2023, we expanded our offerings with wax melts, and we’ve been so thrilled with the response from our customers! We're already working on more handmade products to launch later this year.
