We’re so happy you’ve found us.
We’re Line and Dimitry, a wife-and-husband team based in Aylmer, Gatineau — and we’re the heart and hands behind Bougies Chénier.
Starting this business was a dream we carried for a long time. We always imagined building something together — a space where my creative spirit could blend naturally with my husband’s strength in management and numbers. Today, that shared vision has become something truly special: a brand that reflects both our passions and our partnership.
Our Roles
I, Line, am the creative soul behind Bougies Chénier. I take care of:

Preparing for markets and events (Dimitry help too!!)

Dimitry brings structure and steady support to everything we do. With his background in management, he oversees:

Together, we balance creativity and organization — and that balance is at the heart of our company.
How It All Started
In 2022, we took a leap of faith and launched Bougies Chénier. From our cozy home workshop, we began creating our first line of handmade candles — carefully selecting each element, from the wax and wicks to the jars and fragrances. Every candle was (and still is) crafted with intention and love.
In 2023, we expanded our collection to include Wax melts, and we were overwhelmed with the warm response from our customers.
In 2024, we proudly introduced our men’s candle collection, “The Explorer.” This collection was thoughtfully designed to reflect a bold, refined aesthetic true to our brand. We chose matte black jars for a strong, masculine look and carefully selected fragrances crafted specifically with men in mind. The finishing touch, our detailed labels, adds a distinctive character we are incredibly proud of. This launch marked an exciting milestone for us and allowed us to connect even more deeply with our growing community.
In 2025, we expanded once again with the launch of our Room & Linen Sprays and Car Diffusers , bringing our signature scents beyond candles and into everyday spaces.
And now, in 2026, we have beautiful new surprises in the works. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next, so stay connected and come see what we’ve been preparing for you.
