We're Line and Dimitry, a husband-and-wife team based in Aylmer (Gatineau), and the hearts behind Bougies Chénier.

Starting this business was a dream we carried for a long time. We always imagined building something together, combining our individual strengths, creativity, and shared passion into something truly our own. Today, that dream has grown into a small business that reflects who we are, what we love, and the joy of creating something meaningful together.

At Bougies Chénier, we each bring something special to the journey. Line brings the creativity and attention to detail that shape our products and brand, while Dimitry brings the thoughtful organization and support that help everything come together.

Together, we share a love for creating something meaningful, paying attention to the little details, and building a business that reflects who we are as a couple.

How It All Started

2022 — The Beginning

Every journey starts with a dream. In 2022, we took a leap of faith and launched Bougies Chénier from our cozy home workshop. We began with handmade candles, carefully choosing every detail, from the wax and wicks to the jars and fragrances. From the very beginning, our goal was to create products with care, intention, and love.

2023 — Growing Our Collection

As our little business grew, so did our passion for creating. In 2023, we introduced our wax melts, giving our customers another lovely way to enjoy their favourite fragrances at home. We were so grateful for the warm response and support from our growing community.

2024 — Introducing The Explorer

In 2024, we launched The Explorer, our men's candle collection. Featuring sleek matte black jars, distinctive labels, and carefully selected fragrances, this collection brought a bold and refined touch to Bougies Chénier. It was an exciting milestone and a wonderful opportunity to explore a new side of our brand.

2025 — Fragrance Beyond Candles

In 2025, we expanded our collection once again with the introduction of our room and linen sprays and car diffusers. We wanted to make it easier to enjoy the fragrances you love in more of your everyday moments, whether at home or on the go.

2026 — New Things Are on the Horizon

Our journey continues, and we're always dreaming up new ideas for Bougies Chénier. We have some lovely surprises in the works and can't wait to share them with you. Thank you for being part of our story!
